The GED Science test measures your ability to understand, interpret, and apply scientific concepts and data rather than forcing you to memorize complex facts. Lasting 90 minutes with no break, the exam covers three main content areas: Life Science (40%), Physical Science (40%), and Earth & Space Science (20%). Questions focus heavily on scientific practices, such as evaluating experimental designs, reading charts and graphs, applying formulas like work or density, and drawing logical conclusions from scientific evidence and data.
